GCMS Parent Survey
GCMS wants your feedback! Take the quick and easy Title I Parent Involvement Survey today.
Parent Survey - Special Education
We need your input! Our school district and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) want to hear from parents regarding how well your child’s school is doing to involve you in the special education services provided to your child.
We would like you to complete a brief, online survey to share your experience with your child’s special education services during the current school year (2016-17). Please go to www.kypso.org, scroll to “Parent Survey,” and complete the eleven-question survey telling us about your current experiences.

Edmodo Security Alert
Edmodo notified all customers on May 17 of  a security incident potentially affecting the accounts of Edmodo users. Their investigation has now confirmed that user names, email addresses, and hashed passwords were acquired by an unauthorized third party. The passwords were “hashed” (or encrypted) using the strong and robust bcrypt algorithm, and they were also “salted,” which adds an additional layer of security.

We have no indication at this time that any user passwords have been compromised. Even though a very small portion of our student body would be impacted, as a precautionary measure we have reset all student network passwords at GCMS and GCHS. These are the two schools using Edmodo with some of their students. Any teachers with Edmodo accounts have reset their passwords as a precautionary measure.
