Congratulations to GCHS juniors, Nolan Rister, Tessa Blain, Layla Lacefield, and Abigail Schlosser, selected for the 2025 Governor’s Scholars Program. They join a class of only 1,050 students chosen from a statewide applicant pool of well over 1,600 juniors.
The highly competitive process is based on a 40+ page application highlighting their academic merit, community service contributions, and individual honors across all areas of their school and personal lives.
They will spend five weeks of Summer 2025 at one of the three GSP campus locations: Centre College, Morehead State University, or Murray State University.
