Mary Beth Hasty is recognized for her unwavering willingness to step up and do whatever is needed to support our school community. She consistently goes above and beyond, often taking initiative before being asked and ensuring that tasks are completed with care and excellence. Her positive energy is contagious; she is always smiling and always bringing a sense of warmth and encouragement to those around her.
Linda Keown is recognized for her exceptional crafting abilities and the creative activities she designs for students. She consistently brings fresh, engaging ideas to the students and works seamlessly with her co-workers to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Linda’s dedication, creativity, and teamwork greatly enhance the positive environment within our school.


GCHS will be hosting our Annual Snow Ball dance on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 8-11 pm at the high school. Tickets will go on sale, Monday, January 6 to Friday, January 9, 26 for $12, during 3rd Period. Tickets are NOT available prior to Christmas Break.
Any GCHS student can attend and he/she can invite 1 guest that is high school age, up to 20 years of age. Any guest that is not a student of GCHS, an approval form must be completed. Those forms can be picked up outside of Mrs. Harned's office, starting Tuesday, December 9 of this week. All guest forms must be turned in 2 days prior to purchasing your tickets.
All proceeds assist with senior activities.

Cassie Jarboe is recognized for her commitment and hard work at GCHS. She has an important task of attendance and being the first person parents and guests meet when they visit our school. She does an excellent job, and we feel SAFER knowing she is here working so hard.
Lisa Lee always takes care of students with birthdays and special holidays, going above and beyond to make them feel special. She is greatly appreciated for the time she dedicates and the work ethic she naturally possesses.
GCHS is a better place having these two.

GCHS Students, the last day of T1 will be Friday, October 31.
In-Person Students: finals will be Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31.
Virtual Students: all T1 classes will be archived Monday, November 3 @ 7:30 am and the relative grade will be posted as the final grade.
Parents can log on to IC Portal to view final grades for their child.

Ms. Benningfield's positive attitude not only helps her students succeed in the classroom but also motivates her coworkers. Her rapport with students enhances their potential for learning and helps them feel cared for and respected.
